Parco Releases Brochure for NSF 61, 70-Durometer EPDM Seals (5778-70)

  • Posted by Parco Inc on February 21, 2006

Parco, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high performance seals, today released its new 5778 ethylene-propylene (EPDM) compound brochure.

Parco’s new 4-page brochure provides information on our full line of seals certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for drinking water systems.

Parco’s 5778 compounds offer these benefits:

  • Excellent resistance to chloraminated water
  • Enhanced resistance to compression set
  • Improved resistance to damage during installation.

Internally lubricated peroxide-cured seals, made from Parco’s 5778 compound, are available in four hardnesses from 50 to 90 Shore A durometer.  Our 5778 EPDM seals are ideal for chlorinated or chloraminated water applications, showing less than one percent swell after six weeks in chloraminated water.  That means improved resistance to leakage in your water filtration equipment.

You can view Parco’s new 5778 EPDM Seals brochure in the Literature section of our web site.  If you would like to receive a printed copy, simply contact your Parco customer service representative or e-mail us at sales@parcoinc.com.
