Parco R & D Laboratory Certified to ISO 17025
Ontario, California, June 20, 2003. Parco Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance seals, earned ISO 17025 certification of its R & D laboratory.
ISO 17025 covers the requirements for testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods.
The Performance Review Institute (PRI) has certified that Parco’s R & D laboratory conforms to the testing requirements of ISO 17025, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. Parco’s quality system is also certified to ISO 9002, AS 7115, and AS 9000. Parco’s management system is certified to QS 9000.
Parco’s ISO 17025 certification strengthens the company’s compound development capabilities. Parco currently offers seals in 340 compounds, with more than 25 percent introduced in the last five years.
