Packing Elements

Packing elements (packers) are commonly used in the oil field industry for drilling or well completion systems. We know that a seal failure in the petroleum industry can cost more than $100,000 a day in downtime alone. We've put our expertise to work for more than 50 years developing compounds that withstand caustic, high-temperature environments in wells as deep as five miles. That's why leading oil field companies specify Parco for reliable, long-term performance.

Parco's packing elements are available in inside diameters from 2 to 6 inches, outside diameters from 5 to 8-1/2 inches, and lengths from 1/4 to 8 inches. Our unmatched molding experience can provide you with complex custom shapes, including molded rubber packing elements and ground parts from molded slugs, within two weeks through our Fast Track Program. We can also grind up to three large custom prototypes from molded slugs in five working days through our Rapid Prototype Program. That option eliminates the need for an expensive mold.

Below is a list of our popular compounds for packing elements. If you need additional help, use Parco's Compound Wizard to search our compound library.
